be joyful in hope

Today’s painting:

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  Romans 12:12.  This verse is a popular one on my jewelry.  I’ve always liked it very much, myself, too.  This face had such a serene expression, I so I decided it would be a good match.

I hope you all had a great weekend.   I had a relaxing Sunday after hosting a dinner party Saturday night.  And everyone in the house is getting over our various germs and viruses, so I’m hoping for a good week.  Next week is spring break here, so the kids are anxious already.
