I finished 3 paintings this week and I like two of them. Not bad, I suppose. I posted the first one here. Here’s today’s attempt. I had a hard time choosing a verse for this face, I don’t know why…
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11

Beautiful Patti… both of them! I love how their faces are so bold and then around the face it fades into the background. Sometimes I have so many verses in my head that I find it hard to pick the ‘right one’ for any given piece too. Love these! Thanks so much for sharing with us ‘in the studio’ this week! 🙂
I am REALLY late getting around to all of the Sneak Peeks – but I love your faces!! I checked the link to the other one, too…you really do the 3/4 face proportions well…I too can have trouble knowing which verse goes with a face, or whatever the picture is, and then sometimes the entire thing just gets dropped into my spirit! Nice to meet you…
